"Consequences of the CMR effect on EELS in the TEM";
Vortrag: 6th Annual FOXSI Phd -Workshop, Haus im Ennstal; 01.02.2017 - 04.02.2017.

Kurzfassung englisch:
Over the last decades double perovskite oxides have gained in importance. In particular, manganites such as La2CoMnO6 are attractive materials due to their magnetoelectric response, dielectric response and their colossal magnetoresistance (CMR). The experimental detection of the band gaps and the optical properties is of great interest since the conventional optical methods are limited by the wave length of light. In this work we observe a change of the band gap at low energy losses and are able to study the magnetization with chemical sensitivity by employing energy loss magnetic chiral dichroism below the Curie temperature where the CMR effect becomes significant.
